...well soon anyway, May Day to be precise. The primary purpose of this blog is to post one image a day for a whole year, though I'm sure some indecipherable and random thoughts will also make an appearance. I'm doing this along with some forum friends from the excellent photography forum the PhotoPortal
My reasons for doing this... apart from the challenge and the fun, it's mainly to kick start my photography as I've been suffering from a lack of enthusiasm lately. The idea is to produce a pictorial image every day rather than a record of what I'm doing at the time so the end result, for the first 4 months anyway, should be a collection of eclectic but hopefully interesting images. But why the first 4 months...? Well, from September a fairly life changing event takes place. A change that will make the aim of taking interesting pictorial type images a lot more of a challenge. The project may evolve into reportage. I hope not! Can't reveal anything now... you'll have to wait (along with me) until then.
